1. Who we are and acceptance

These Terms govern your use of thelivingkitchen.net, its account area, screening room, recipe library, videos and downloadable content (together, the “Service”). The contract is between you and Culturetek Pte. Ltd., UEN 202411392W, 6 Raffles Quay #14-02, Singapore 048580.

By creating an account, purchasing a membership or using paid content, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use paid areas.

2. The Service

The Living Kitchen provides entertainment films, fictional ingredient characters, recipes, early-access screenings and downloadable digital recipe material. Some characters, images, voices and moving images may be created or enhanced with artificial-intelligence tools. They are fictional creative works and do not depict or impersonate real people.

Recipes are educational content, not personal nutritional, medical or dietary advice. Availability, release dates, recipe collections and creative presentation may change as the Service develops.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract, or use the Service through an account purchased and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Account information must be accurate. Keep your login confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

One membership is for one person and may not be shared, resold or used to provide access to others.

4. Membership, price and renewal

The available plans are USD 9.95 per month and USD 89 per year, plus any taxes displayed at checkout. Your selected price, billing interval and total are shown before you pay.

Membership begins when Stripe confirms payment and renews automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. We charge the payment method stored with Stripe at the start of each renewal period. If payment fails, access may be restricted while Stripe retries the payment.

We may change prices for future periods. We will give reasonable advance notice of a price increase. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Payment through Stripe

Stripe processes payments and stores payment-card details under its own terms. Full card numbers and CVC codes do not reach or remain on our systems. We receive transaction status, customer and subscription references, billing country, card brand and limited card information such as the final four digits where Stripe provides it.

6. Digital delivery and access

Paid access is delivered digitally after payment confirmation. Member films may use protected streaming and recipe files may be offered as downloads. You need a compatible device, current browser and internet connection.

Early access means members may receive films and recipes before public release; it does not guarantee a fixed number of releases in a particular week or month unless expressly stated at checkout.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal linked from your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, access continues until the end of the already-paid period and unused time is not automatically refunded.

You may also request help by emailing hello@linanoa.com.

8. Refunds and right of withdrawal

Voluntary 14-day money-back guarantee

For a first membership purchase, you may email us within 14 days of purchase and request a refund. We refund the amount paid for that initial period to the original payment method through Stripe within 14 days of accepting the request, usually sooner. This voluntary promise does not reduce any mandatory statutory rights.

EU and UK consumers

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

For digital content supplied immediately, that right may be lost only if performance begins with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that the withdrawal right is thereby lost, and only where we can evidence both. If in doubt, your withdrawal right stands. Where we cannot evidence the required consent and acknowledgement, we honour the full statutory withdrawal right.

An email clearly stating that you withdraw is sufficient. You do not need a specific form or reason. Renewals are excluded from the voluntary first-purchase guarantee unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

9. Food safety, allergies and dietary information

You are responsible for checking every ingredient and adapting a recipe to your circumstances. Ingredient substitutions, product composition, kitchen equipment, altitude, storage and cooking conditions can change results.

  • Check packaging and manufacturer information for allergens and cross-contamination.
  • Do not rely solely on labels such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or dairy-free where an allergy or medical condition is involved.
  • Follow local food-safety guidance, safe storage rules and appropriate minimum cooking temperatures.
  • Supervise children and take care with knives, heat, oil, appliances and raw ingredients.
  • Seek qualified medical or dietetic advice for allergies, pregnancy, medical diets or health conditions.

We test and review recipes with care, but cannot guarantee that a recipe is allergen-free, suitable for every diet or safe under conditions outside our control.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • share paid account access or protected film links;
  • resell, redistribute or publicly upload member films, recipe PDFs or other paid material;
  • scrape, crawl or systematically extract content;
  • circumvent authentication, streaming protection, payment checks, download controls, usage limits or security measures;
  • use the Service or its content to train or build a competing dataset, model, publication or commercial product;
  • upload malware, probe vulnerabilities or interfere with normal operation;
  • misrepresent our fictional characters or AI-generated content as footage or statements of real people.

11. Intellectual property and licence

The Living Kitchen name, characters, stories, website, recipes as presented, artwork, films, audio, software and downloads are owned by Culturetek or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

While your membership is in good standing, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to view and use member content for private, non-commercial purposes. No ownership is transferred.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, networks and third-party infrastructure may cause interruptions. We may improve, replace or discontinue features. If a change materially and adversely removes the core benefit of a prepaid membership, we will give reasonable notice and offer cancellation and an appropriate pro-rata remedy where required.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that every creative statement, recipe outcome, timing or nutritional description is complete or suitable for your individual circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data, opportunity or anticipated savings. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and USD 100.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence, intentional breach or mandatory consumer rights. Mandatory protections in your country of residence prevail over conflicting limitations.

14. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access where payment is not made, these Terms are materially breached, security is threatened or the law requires it. Where circumstances permit, we give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. If we terminate for a reason not caused by you, we refund the unused prepaid period where appropriate.

15. Changes to these Terms

The current version is published here with its update date. For material changes affecting paid membership, we will provide reasonable advance notice, normally at least 30 days. You may cancel before a disadvantageous change takes effect.

16. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.

If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory rights or access to courts granted by the law of your habitual residence. In particular, EU consumers retain the protection of mandatory local consumer law and applicable home-court jurisdiction.

17. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and purchase-specific checkout terms form the agreement concerning the Service. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign your membership; we may transfer the Service to a successor provided your rights are not reduced.

The English version is the operative version. Any translation is provided for convenience, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
